CEO and Group Management Team
The CEO is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company in accordance with the Companies Act and the instructions, regulations and authorisations issued by the Board of Directors, and ensures that the company's accounts comply with the law and that the company's financial management is organised in a reliable manner.
The Board of Directors appoints the CEO and decides on the CEO's remuneration and other terms of the CEO's contract. The CEO is elected for an indefinite period. The CEO is assisted by a Group Management team.
Typically, the Group Management Team together with the CEO, is responsible for preparing the company's strategy, business plans, budget and other matters to be decided by the board. In addition, the management team usually decides and discusses the most important operational issues for the company.
